First-time right, predictable mixed-signal design that reduces weeks of design time to days and doesn’t sacrifice performance.
Two major forces have compelled analog and digital circuits to mix and co-exist. The first is economic: the ever increasing desire for integration and cost reduction is fueling the growing presence of analog and digital circuits on a single die, despite the engineering challenges involved. The second is technical: many high-performance analog systems using sub-nanometer process technologies contain increased levels of digital circuitry to improve their performance (digitally assisted analog). This convergence of circuits creates a significant need for analog and digital tools to unify. It is no longer effective to have two separate flows, one for analog and one for digital and then integrate the design.
For digital implementation, Titan provides seamless integration to the Talus digital implementation tools and data and Quartz physical verification products. This provides a powerful combination of the efficiency of Talus, Titan’s full-custom analog design tools and high-capacity Quartz physical verification capabilities.
