Physical verification is a computationally expensive proposition — one that cannot be done efficiently unless the system is able to efficiently leverage a large number of CPU cores to accelerate computation. The fully scalable Quartz™ physical verification system is a superior alternative to traditional tools that allows designers to handle more complex designs in less time with existing hardware.

• Quartz DRC and Quartz LVS are the industry’s first fully scalable physical verification solutions. Leveraging a unique architecture and advanced modeling capabilities, these products allow affordable massively distributed processing of DRC and LVS comparison.
• Talus qDRC enables sign-off-quality design rule checking within the implementation environment. It allows visibility into reference-level IP views with all GDSII layers, making debugging easy. The incremental mode handles engineering change orders (ECOs) in seconds, operating on only those QuickCap NX portions of the design that changed.
• Camelot imports CAD design data from all key LVS packages, including Quartz LVS, and several user-proprietary formats. It provides visual representations of circuits, converts layout, netlist and schematic data, and establishes crossmapping links between each data entity. By allowing failure analysis engineers to collect, analyze and share this information with designers, Camelot allows closer collaboration between product and design groups with failure analysis labs and improves time to yield and market.
